　　该数据库主要收录了美国机械工程师学会（American Society of Mechanical Engineers-简称ASME）的出版物，包括学会的期刊、会议录、图书等，涵盖的基础工程（能量转换，能量资源，环境和运输，一般工程学，材料和结构、制造（材料储运工程，设备工程和维护，加工产业，制造工程学，纺织工程学）等学科。
